Just wondering if a 1990 model hilux cab and gaurds will fit onto a 1979 hilux chassis without to many mods.

Do they come in 32x11.5 or 33x12.5/15 and can they be used on road cause i want a set they sound cheap. any one know where you can get them in Nth QLD

Has anyone put there pump timing on max advanced? will it do damage. On a 2.8 turbo lux

Can any damage occur if the timing on a diesel injector pump is too far advanced? on a 2.8 Hilux?

your problem is simply boost gauge is plumped into the wrong place. it needs to be on the turbo outlet side of the controller. infact the gauge shouldn't even be on the turbo at all. best place for the boost gauge is the inlet manifold otherwise boost readings will be incorrect. it is a GFB boost controller. I have turbo outlet>boost controller > Tpiece>boost gauge> waste gate. I have the gauge after the contoller just in case it may show a different reading if i have it before. IT IS NOT BACKWARDS!! you have to screw it clockwise untill it stops and that is the factory setting and anti-clockwise to gain more boost but in this case it decreases boost. And i never got it off E-bay it comes from Rocket Industries. I will talk to a turbo specialist.

Can anyone tell me what intercooler would suit a 2.8TD Hilux LN106 and what have people put on there vehicles like off a import car or off another 4wd or if a top mount is better ect. All replies would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know what intercooler will fit a 2.8L turbo hilux? I would like a top mount but if anyone has done this to there hilux could you tell me what car the intercooler is off.

On my 2.8L hilux I have put DTS turbo on it and i notice now when travelling up long hills or up ranges on the highway it gets about a needle thickness over half i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or know how to fix it. I normally sits at about a quarter around town driving.

I have a 2.8L Hilux with a DTS Turbo on it (TDo4) and was wondering what amount of boost i should run safely with no intercooler. And what boost they run when they come from the factory?
