5" is way to high for a gu i just removed mine and went back to a 3" lift drives way better and you dont feel like a cop magnet i still run 35"tyres and it looks way better just my 2 cents worth

its the old story when you hear bad things about a certain motor it only a rumor until it happens to you then its a fact i was bitten by the good old toyota surf not once but twice should had taken the advice and left the car their stuff the oil burner there will always problems in end and they cost

for the money you wont go wrong with lokka by 4wdsystem if your not in to comps and just wont better tracksion they are very effective when your in 4wd the stearing has a return to center effect but i wouldnt call it real heavy i use hand controls which means i stear with one arm my left one at that

i will look at the 2.7 and see where that goes i was doing a google search and came across a web site that states you can get up to 350hp out of a 22r turbo it might be worth to have another look at that to thanks guys

i was told its common it just the weakest link in the chain i had it replaced with a heavy duty one had to get the transmision flushed out cause off the medal and then had it sevice twice in a month just to make sure the fillings were gone i never had another problem and it been around australia ...

sounds just like what happen to me its not good cost just over a grand 3 years ago striped the spine out of the convertor lucky it happen at home i was camping out about 300k's from home had to hire a 4x4 to get the camper and the kids home a very expensive easter in the end

is this right for the patrol it a mitsubishi distrubutor p/n tot 00471 and the pertronix ignitor p/n is 1762 LSCC it might be cheaper to order it from the states even with sales taxs

i had the same problem try taking the latch that you tryed to adjust off and turn it around this gives you about 5mm more adjustment cheers
