for it to come out of the charcoal canister the tank might be pressurizing when full try a new fuel cap. thsi shouldnt happen!

luv how defensive you guys get with your 4.2's all i was doing was relaying info i got from a mechanic how worked in alice. NOT my personel experience. HA

think your gettin abit excited bout the old 4.2. a mechanic i work with used to work in alice springsand doesnt have many good things to say bout them they were the ones coming in for over heat, head gaskets, cracked heads etc plus the rest..

how can you say caster kit not needed. my gu had 3degrees positive castor before i lifted it when lifted i had 0 on one side and -09 on the other. no castor is not good. at least now my cars alignment is in spec.

i fitted a tough dog 2inch lift and lost 3degrees castor so i corrected it. best thing to do is fit the kit then get a castor swing check at a alignment place and youll know how much your missing.

tjm do a clear indicator kit for $50 not sure on size but comes with everything

aps turbo systems were and have been doing larger thicker core top mount coolers for wrx's for years for there performance upgrades. give them a call..

did robe at the start of the year in a 05 gu no problems with over heat gauge didnt get to half.. possibly cooling system fault thermostat, coolant radiator etc..

thats correct some had gear oil some ran atf. i work on bmws and had the same issue on model update same gear box went from gear oil to atf, possibly different syncro material ...

i was told by the dealer mechanic if atf comes out put atf back in, if gear oil comes out put gear oil back in. early ones used gear oil and late ones used atf. if its atf make sure u use nissan matic D atf to stop the auto hubs locking up.

same as bogged what price and brand. have had bad experience with cheaper igniters/control box.
