Re: help me tabrocky/somebody boost question

Shambles, I think your refering to the Power Control Valve which is small round black plastic unit which is clipped onto a small bracket off the inlet manifold. It will have three hoses connecting to it. One from the inlet manifold at the point where the fuel pump compensator is connected, another ...

I put Lovells leaf springs under my Rocky about 6 years ago to give a 2 inch lift. No sagging at all and I have transfered them onto a second vehicle. A very good spring that isnt too firm. http://www.lovells.com.au/ Highly recommend them however they are possibly more expensive than some others ...

Although the glow plugs may be rated at 7 volts, running them from a 12volt supply shouldn't be an issue if your glow plug timer is working correctly. The timer serves two purposes - 1. pre heat the engine correctly for the given conditions, 2. protect the glow plugs from overheating. The period of ...

I haven't tried this before but I don't believe it would help. Most large thermo fans will still move less air than the engine driven fan. If your engine driven fan has a thermo clutch on it, that may be causing your problem. My 92TDI rocky also gets hot if you push it up a hill in hot weather and ...

Did it happen all of a sudden or has it been getting gradually worse over a period of time? If it's been getting worse over time and it's done much over 200k-250k kms then it's probably due for an overhaul (bearings, seals). I would expect it to cost $1200 - $1500 for a good quality job. F77 rear axle is different to the F75. I think the front is the same though. Be careful not swaping injectors and injector pump. I think the injector nozzles in the TD's are different to the NA's to cater for the increased fuel delivery. Could be wrong, but might be worth checking. You'll also need ...

Rocky radiator and fuse box wanted

I know this stuff is meant for the classifieds section but sometimes it doesn't get as much attention. So... Im after the following reasonably urgently: Radiator (can be buggered) - to suit F75 diesel rocky. Must be the type which has mounting tabs welded to it for the overflow bottle. Typically ...

I was also puzzled by this hole until reading the manual. Could be any number of things. If you've just had the box out to replace the clutch, check the vacuum line is still connected. It runs down the passenger side of the engine block from the alternator. There's a small bit of hose where the clutch housing bolts to the motor. Also, as already said ...
