Its not too important but its the other way around
4.11 (37 x 9) for ute/troopy and 4.1 (41 x 10) for 80 ser

how much lift did you get
if only 2inch make sure you got the flat top u bolts and you shouldn't have a worry
otherwise if i had the money i'd be grabin that one from roberts

im going to get the 4inch shocks with the 2inch efs lift ive got
seen one on the weekend
heaps more travel with the 4in shocks
the 2inch ones are fully entended way to early
4inch go straight in - no mods

had to do this about a month ago and going virtually on memory
old bearing and seal preload> 2 - 2.5 Nm
new> 1 - 1.3 Nm
flange nut> no more than 195Nm-- be sure not to exceed preload
I/d feel better if someone could confirm these figures but

yeah get one made up . They're a dime a dozen.
pretty sure if you went with the 5spd shaft you'de have to change g/box and diff flanges as well

g/day all just want to tickle ya brains on what would be better on a LN106 hilux +2 inch shackle lift with 2 inch(already fitted) suspension lift or 4inch suspension lift alone I know the extended shackles will only give me an extra inch. just wanna know which set up will work better. thanks in ...

i went from 31s with 15x7 sunraisers to 32s with 15x8 alloys with virtually no dead weight change.
33s will probably scrub back of guards when turning

as ray said with the full floater and yes it will fit
80 ser are 41x10= 4.1 ratio
40,55 ,60, 75 are 37x9=4.11 ratio

i imagine the shorty is a soft top with the fiberglass tub
you'de be saving heaps of weight there
other mods if any like wheels and tyres could have an effect but
I'd go and check to see if the secondarys are kicking in on the 45
if its stock it would surely need going over by know

move your front diff forward either with rear springs etc. as dicussed in other threads or drill your perches 33mm back with 14.5mm drill. works a treat

are your parabolics any longer than the average 2in lift springs
its just that when i put the first shackle (snakes +2in) in the front, the spring seemed fold opposite to its set near the shackle end
