I Have a '98 2.8 triton dual cab 4x4 and I am getting 10l/100km as I live in the territory I do alot of off road and bitumen work and I also have a 120l long range tank on a recent trip from Darwin to alice whilst sitting on about 120 km/hr I got 1190km out of the full tank.

I live in the N.T and own a '98 dual cab 2.8 and have just up graded the suspension to maxi trac heavy duty shocks easily done and cost about 6oo fitted{NT Prices} also adjusted the torsion bars and now riding slightly higher but dont forget that unless you get larger rims the ground clearance will ...
