I know that the 1989 1.3 carb Sidekick in the U.S. had a 5.62 and Calmini offers a 5.83 aftermarket and I also believe there is a 5.38 but don't know what Suzuki that came out of.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this method of making a lower ratio t-case and if this is doable on a Vitara?

That sounds great, thanks. I'll look into it. I know in the U.S. there are companies that can upgrade your output to what you want by the amp but I don't know if anyone does this in OZ.

Can anybody tell me what rim offset I should have for 15" x 7"'s on a Vitara?

Anyone replaced an alternator in a 1.6 Vitara with a higher output one or had the original upgraded? If so, what did you do and how well has it worked.
