i have a 1999 Vitara with the G16B engine.Mostly run high range and about 15psi when going through soft dunes and never had a problem. Though i have done the very occasional low range to get through a real soft spot. done a few fraser trips travelling at 80+km/h both in high and 2wd while fully load...

im pretty sure it depends on what engine you have and what mods you have done to your car, also how you drive it. out of a stock standard Vitara (G16B engine) i was getting around 300+k's to the tank while only using 2wd around town. i now have extractors and a 2" exhaust and get close to 400ks...

ripped off!!.......they sped it up to make it look quicker (as you do in a zook), either that or they are really chipmunks
