Thanks mate. That should be all I need to cover the new 30" Bighorns.
Any advice on sourcing OEM flares?

I have a G16b that I may need to store for a while and was wondering if there is any tips for storing an engine for an extended period, (several months), beyond making sure it is covered and kept dry.
Thanks.

Green is - not sure
Everywhere any body part could possibly hit ie any exposed bits of cage in passenger area. Double check with an engineer when you get it passed ;).

Anyone converted their Vit headlights to HID? Pics or pitfalls would be appreciated. I am also looking for sealed units (ballasts) if anyone has any recommendations. 4300k or 5000k.
No debates on HID's in daily drivers etc please.
Thanks in advance.

Any tips for cleaning petrol tanks out? I might try the handful of gravel trick but if anyone has better tips or products, I'm all ears.
I also want to run a second fuel filter (the clear plastic type) in the engine bay like on my old Sierra but as the Vitara is injected I was wondering if this ...

Thanks for the replies. I will try the hose check tomorrow first thing. I have a new filter ready to go. I might drop the tank out to check the pump and gauge anyway. Anyone pay for fuel pump lately? Prices?

Is taking the air filter off and spraying some start ya bastard into the intake be worthwhile test for the fuel pump. My theory is the pump would get fuel up to the engine unless its stuffed.

I'd be maybe changing the filter, as it could be full of cr@p or maybe listening for the fuel pump as it may have burnt out.

Have listened for the fuel pump but can't hear a thing so you might be onto something. I'd drop her but she has too ...

Car had run out of fuel (Girlfriend) and now won't start. It will crank over just fine but sounds like no fuel is getting to the engine.
Anyone had similar problems or know of a fix? What can I do to test the fuel pump is working correctly.
I've checked fuses and there ...

How do these spacers effect your rear suspension geometry ? I cant imagine they would be overly kind to it ..
As far as im aware the a-arm spacer is purely corrective, returning the arm back to its original angle pre-lift. I was more concerned with what the lift itself does to the suspension ...

The spacer helped heaps on my vit after a lift. apart from giving the ball joint its range of motion back it also corrects the functioning of the proportioning valve and apparently helps improve the tail shaft angles(?). I had an annoying hum post lift that the spacer corrected

Recently bought Vitara had the usual Suzuki problem of battery tray rusting out. It had been replaced with a plastic tray that the battery tie downs attach to. This means moving battery. Not good.
The question is: are the stock battery tray's removable items, (ie replaceable), or are they spot ...
