The kit and the instructions look great

Are you going to offer the 50w HID kit?

A little side note if you didn't know
I spoke to a bloke from the lightforce stand at the Melb 4x4 show. He said that they will be selling 50w HID lights soon

If you want to choose between Discover Aus Topo or Oziexplorer.

May be have a look at what digital maps are available for the areas that you regularly goto and the areas that you want to goto in the future.

I know in Vic we have some great digital maps that are available for the popular spots ...

From limited research the FX324C are hard to get so I would get what ever you can if you want one.

For any GPS in the car I'd be trying to run an external aerial. They work so much better and don't dropout anywhere near as much.

I run a Magellan FX324C and a Toshiba PDA. They are both linked up ...

We use the basic model of the Uniden UH044. It only has 0.5w output and the batteries will last a couple of weekends away. When I bought it, it was $100. The cheapest in that style. It was run over by a 4x4 Mud Racer once on a track covered in Mud once. I turned it off straight away and cleaned it ...

What size fuse would I use?

cheers,

Luke :P

My guess would be either 7.5 or 10 Amp - but check the manual for maximum current usage, or check the manufactures web site for specs.
The thicker cable and anderson plugs are minimising voltage drop, your not really pumping 50 amps down it.
Put the ...

I know that you found some.

I have a HZJ75 with a Toyota Standard Alumium Bull bar. The lights look the same as that. I got replacements from my local dealer.

For those running Laptops that just put them on the passengers lap, have you thought about what would happen to them in an accident.

And those who are mounting all these screens into new cars, have you looked into where the airbags are and how all this extra stuff will effect there operation.

With ...

I have a Magellan FX 324 GPS and a Toshiba PDA.
I run them in a 75 series ute so I don't have much space for a laptop.

I use Ozi CE for Maping. Tom Tom for street stuff when I'm lost in a city.

I found that for route planning and seeing where you have been and the end of the day. Its easier to ...

If you want a higher voltage for your driving lights and its not your wiring. May be try and wire your lights directly from your alternator.

The volage will be slightly higher as generally the manufactures will not put in a big wire between the alternator and the battery.

You need to work out what you want to use the inverter for first.

There is 2 types of inverters; Modified Sign Wave & True Sign Wave.

The True Sign Wave inverters are the best. You can run what ever you want from them.

If you want to run anything with a Switch Mode Power Supply you will need a ...
