Haha... Sorry.. Couldnt resist! About to start making a custom set of rear cargo drawers for the troopy and just wanted to see if anyone else had any great ideas for me to take into the design. I want to keep the fridge slide as low as possible... So I was thinking of 2-3 drawers on top of each ...

There is no play in the shaft, But the whole driveline is kinda noisy, This is my first Landcruiser so Im not sure if thats how its spose to sound :)

Ok.... I got under the car and pulled on the driveshaft to check for wear to the bearings, I have no up and down or side to side movement but there is a little bit of slop on the shaft if I turn it, Is that normal and does it sound like I can get away with just a new seal etc?

Spoke to a diff guy today and hes trying to sell me a whole new diff center.

He says 9 times outa 10 the bearings are shagged, plus the clutch and for an extra bit of $ he'll just supply me with a whole rebuilt unit fitted... $990 :shock:

Rear Oil Leak.

Hi guys, After leaking for a little while I decide to investigate... I see this... seems like I'm losing a bit of oil but I'm not sure exactly where it is coming from, Sometimes it smells because it looks like it gets on the muffler... There is no oil towards to front of the car... just this above ...

The batteries are dying in my Jeep... put a new one in... and it dies.. whats going on? when i park it.. nothing seems to be still running.. I dont understand. I had the battery man test the alternator and it seems fine. So today i charged the battery.. reinstalled it and decided to check everything ...

Power Steering Box

Has anyone rebuilt their power steering box? My L300 4x4 Power Steering box is leaking from the top (where the steering shaft enters)Ive removed the top case and inspected the seal, it does look poo, I just rang the power steering specialists, They said a new seal kit is $70. Thats not bad...however ...
