Re: Hi flow 65mm throttle body
The plenum chamber needed quite a bit of welding and machining to fit the throttle body. The total cost was $1165.00 including freight .The inlet and outlet fittings on the throttle body needed to be repositioned to align with the coolant hoses and the hoses need to be shortened. A easy job, just ...

Re: Hi flow 65mm throttle body
It's all fitted up and running like a dream. The only adjustment was to the idle speed screw. Much more punch in the bottom to mid range and off road it is great fun. Mud is a bit of a worry though as a bit of throttle = lots of wheel spin

Hi flow 65mm throttle body
After running some calculations as the pro's and con's I have bitten the bullet and purchased a hi flowed 65mm throttle body and had a spare plenum chamber modified and ported. I had this done by Racing Performance Works in Perth. This is the first 3.0 liter sohc 12 valve they have done, all before ...

Re: Transfer case input spline count
Thanks for the info. Indeed the correct gears for mine are the 2.854:1 ratio. Towing a camper trailer off road down steep inclines with the standard low ratio is crap. Marks are out of stock at the moment and are testing a new set shortly. After that back in production with sets available late ...

Re: Transfer case input spline count
Yep, spoke to Marks and they didn't know. Anyone else have the specs for me ??? Or, for the big test tell me which ratio Marks Adapters gear set will fit in my transfer. It's a NH Sept 93 build.

Locker or gears?
I have a 1994 3.0 V6 that is mainly used for touring and towing my Trackabout off road camper. I also like an off road challenge but I am not into hard core driving. The vehicle has a three inch Lovells springs rear lift , OME torsion bars and shocks all round, 31 in Dick Cepek FCII tyres as running ...

Low range gear set
I am thinking about fitting a set of 2.854:1 low range gears into my NH Pajero. Has anyone done this and if so can you give some feedback about how it went.
Cheers

Further to this problem, mine was caused by the front axle disconnect not fully releasing. I had checked all the vacuum hoses for the front disconnect and cleaned all the electrical connectors. That made some difference, as the flashing light syndrome was cured. But, it was remedied by changing the ...

I am experiencing the same symptoms with my 94 model. I ran all the checks on the vacuum system and I suspect that it may be the free wheel
clutch assy on the front diff. I have found that if you reverse a bit when changing out of 4WD that the problem goes away. It is something in the super select ...

I have a perfectly good 89 2.5TD Pajero for sale for not much more than a new engine. The engine in mine has approx 60k on it and has been completely rebuilt as has the turbo ( Hi flowed ) and fuel pump. Has heaps of mods. Needs to go as I have purchased another vehicle. Give me a PM if you want ...
