My fuel guage on my SWB Mav does not work properly, when i fill it up it the needle gets to 3/4 and stops and then drops to 1/4 after driving for about 50k's. It will then drop to empty but still have plenty of fuel left. What are my options? would it be something simple? Also the drivers side ...

Is the new hilux up to the task?
Looking at getting a new diesel SR5 dual cab lux, is it going to be up to the task of a trip to the Cape? Most of my driving will be weekend trips away to fraser (god bless my girlfriends house on fraser!) but the odd trip to the cape will be on the cards.
