i hear also brake lines may need to be extended? i guess all trucks are diff in regards to what needs to be changed, so i'll just have to wait and see...
is this mod even legal in QLD? not that i really care, but will it be a noticable defect if i were to be pulled over?

Yesterday arvo, i pulled out the battery, whacked her on the charge and hosed out the altinator... This morning put it all back in, the truck started fine... BUT even reving it, the volts remain around 12. so the altinator isnt giving a charge to the battery. and it still does the indicator thing ...

thanks for the help lads, firstly i will probs hose down the altinator to see if i can get most the mud off, let it dry and test volatages... i'll check water levels in the battery and put her on the charge overnight... if this doesnt help then i'll pull the altinator down and do a proper clean out ...

Whats peoples opinion on a cheaper option like Old Man Emu set up?

Body lift is junk, and only has any value at all if you need it to fit your chosen tyres. I would say pick your tyres/wheels - 33 x 12.5 with a wide offset rim is good for the "tuff truck" look. Maybe 35s, but only if you can afford them and aren't worried about the cops. Then do some suspension ...
