4.2ltr run 2.5'' with turbo muffler full flow.

Mate the 4.2s like a bit of load and with the diff change and the bigger tyers dont be suprised if you feel it goes better with the bigger rubber. I had one in a GQ non turbo and when i put the boat on (16ft tinni) it pulled alot better but dont get to greedy as to much and you will kill it. Cheers ...

Be careful fitting twin piston calapers if you only have singles now as the master cylinder cant handle the extra volume of fluid required for the job. The three litre does run a duel mass fly wheel and yes they can be machined, all they do is load up the flywheel and weld small tabs to it to hold it and then machine it when there finished they remove the tabs and your done. You will need plenty of oil pressure for the turbo the sdandard turbo taps into one of the small plugs under the exhaust manifold at the cam galleries in the side of the block.

Hay i had a rd28 in my GU and when it gave up the gost i fitted a TD42 from an 03 GU and i still run the 4.6 gears and i run 35/12.5/15 pro comps and the speedo is about 4km/h out at 100ks, i could run slightly bigger tyres if i wanted and this would bring the gearing back to standard for the 4.2 ...
