Questions 1. what are the respective diff ratios. 2. if different (and i assume they are) can the centers be swapped. 3. If not can the hole ...

Is the engineering a Vic thing because when I did my Cruiser I just made 2'' poly blocks and replaced with grade 8 bolts? Take to transport dep put over the pit, as long as they are poly or steel, grade 8 bolts, test the brakes on the roller and check the lights and that’s it. They give you a form t ...

LC60 diff sits at the same height with 31's as a Rover does on 29's. The LC60 diff and axle housing is larger. Slunnie You missing the point i know they are a bigger housing and there for will be closer to the ground, but it's nothing to get wrapped around the axles about (pardon the pun), if you ...

I am doing the center swap a i got a 80ser Elocker for stuff all, and a Lux rear for $150. Why is everyone so concerned about the clearance of the diff, i bet all the cruiser owners don't think there diffs are to low!!! I am looking at the 2wd kit for my D1, after putting one in my 80 Ser in 2002 and found it to be the best mod I’ve done. All pros and no cons, the back lash was the biggest issue and it fixed it just fine. Felt funny the first few days but after that I could not tell the difference. Makes me laugh e ...

I there a easy way to line up the centers in the housings.

Do any of the holes line up to make it simple (can only hope)? Or just put the center in with the axels and hope I get it in the right spot? any help would be nice like how did you re-attach the steering dampener.

I have had all three and the all have pros and cons. If you have a ball and chain and a few rug rats the Nissan or Cruiser are much more suited to that as for size. Donuts in the mud!!!
No back lash
Lighter steering
Less wear and tear
