i had this happend to me the circlip inside the diff housing compresed in wich poped the axel out just enouf to fark the circlip so it was stuffed and stuffed the axel spline. i got a new axel that had a clip and put that in. pull top and lower balljoints take auto hub cap take circlips of cv spline...

yea i still have this problem but im going to get 2.85 gearing 1st then if it still procedes to slip ill change the cluch. mine is fine onroad and most 4x4ing but a decent steep hill where i have to stop its :bad-words:

i have sent an email to Mark Hardman to order some gears just waiting for a reply (hope hes not on holidays :lol:). enyone els here instaled them to the 3l v6 around 89? how good are these gears and eny info on the do's and dont's of instaling them? cant seem to find eny photos. maby if enyones keen...

you could also do a 2inch body lift. with ally blocks would be fine but you would also need to modifi your frount and rear bar. but i think some front trimming would be a better idear crack out the grinder :twisted:

wouldn't having the top of the snorkel facing the rear of the car restrict airflow heaps, if not giving it almost none at all as the air is just wooshing over the top of it?? thats what id be thinking, wouldnt it be better to have a 45 degree bend in just over the glass so all air rammed into the g...
