0.63 exhaust with 0.70 compressor will be fine, spool slightly sooner than a 1.06 exhaust 0.50 compressor. Nice and responsive. Might start running out of puff by 4000rpm, but I wouldn't take it much past there anyway!

1400 deg F is definitely on the high side if the probe is mounted post-turbo. Not out of the ordinary if pre-turbo.
Have you got a wideband - what are your AFRs like at cruise/under load? Been dyno tuned? Haven't plugged in my EGT gauge yet but when I do I'll report back.
