Hi all, at the present i have a 2.8 gq td, am looking to get a gu 4.2 st or 3 lt, have heard that the 3 lt have a bit more power than a 4.2?. finding a good 4.2 is hard to find anyway? any thoughts??

anyone have a stainless steel snorkel that they have fittd to a patrol? if so, what diameter is it and how much did u spend?, i want to fit one to a gq 2.8 td.

Hi, I have noticed a squeel at very low speed in the front L wheel. could this be a wheel bearing, and are they difficult to repack or renew?

its a mRX 2.8 TD 96

just found out that a fan and hub for a gq is the same for a vl commodore, seems to be working ok at this stage. does anyone think of a reason why it shouldnt?

hi guys, just wondering about a crazy taco, it jumps between 2-3000rpm when i accelarate. is it the sensor behind the timming belt cover, that works from the fuel pump cog?

hi, i jut had a new injector kit put in (2.8 TD) copper washers, seals etc, etc and a new fuel return pipe,, still leaking ful from 1 injector. any sugestions on why???

HI, Im thing about putting a thermo fan on my RX 2.8 TD. Should i replace the existing fan or add the thermo as an extea one? any suggestins?

Ive just got my patrol back on the road with a new head. now ive noticed that when i drive normal on the road, the tacho makes sudden movements, up and down, any theorys on whats happening? seek help and advice before i break it again.....

Thanks to all who offered advice and help to me refence my camshaft and head,, all is working now and im driving again,, however,, i am now in need of a fan and the fan clutch (2.8 td, 96 gq) can anyone help wit hthgat request??

so its either gas or deisel,,, 1 or the other and not cant use duel fuel?

avtur,(jet fuel) is great for cleaning out injectors...

Wife is thingking about should we convert our rx 2.8 td to run on gas and deisel.dual fuel. dont want to go convert totaly to gas, worried about having less power.. any thoughts or comments?

i need to get anaother camshaft for a rx 2.8 td, the one i have is the wrong one because it dosnt have the lobe on it to drive the vacum pump. its from a 2.8 with the vacume pump on the back of the alternater. so if there is anyone out there who can help, i need a cam to suit my patrol,, please help ...
