I've just clocked up 60K in my TD GV, and the only drama I've had was a noisy bush in the front sway bar. No probs with engine, or DPF. It doesn't take long to get used to the way it takes off at the lights. I'm very happy with it.

I removed the swaybar on my 1.3 WT with 2" BL , and 31's and it was much better offroad, would flex better and made no major difference for the small amount of onroad driving I did. You could try the Mudstar 235/75/15's. They are nowhere near as aggressive as the Simex, but are a good tyre to get started in the Mud. Best thing is they're cheap, about $130 fitted, and you'll be able to drive the car during the week. If you go 31" or bigger, say goodbye to 5th gear and 100kmh ...
