just a silly thought, but due to old cars i drive alt,s are one thing that fail out bush on a sunday or when wet.
so can i hook up 2 in the engine and maybe have wiring to swith over at failure?its extra fan belt drag but hey, reliablity is a must.
done too many roadside repairs.

mine is still going i swapped engines over and it looked fine so my spare is going rusty wanna buy it? they last heaps if u dont drop yr clutch and do silly shit too often i tow and go rock climbing a lot so shes done well 4cyl is low on power to wear them,

i have a aftermarket hub called "awm "
bought for my hilux fourrunner early solid axle but it doesnt seem to reach the spline in lock position
