Carburation Queston

:? I have just done the G16B (1.6 Vitara) engine transplant into my Sierra and have a dodgy carby~ intermittent flat spot~ and have been told not to bother putting a Webber Carby onto it, but rather to pay $100 for the original one to be kitted.
My question is which way is the best way?
