TD42 into ZD30

Looking at converting my ZD30 to a TD42 (hopefully with a turbo). Has anyone on here done this conversion before. Have found some info on it, but the more, the better. Mainly with wiring the engine up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

G'day everyone, I have a 1990 D21, 2.7 ltr 4wd single cab tray back ute. The problem I have , is that the left hand outer boot on the drive shaft is split.
