The wire that powers all of ya dash lights is a yellow/red from memory and comes from the fuse box but is powered by the ignition.
last time i checked the wires from the alt ( battery and excitor) have nothing to do with the dash lights and are wired into the ignition ( the excitor for the alt that ...

I can help ya a bit there,
The MQ back is a real good fit if you are gunna do a Xtra cab using the old rear doors, it will look kinda like this....hopefully not too much like this cause this is my comp car!

Jeez that was harder than first thought!!!....and it's still bloody hot out there!
From the centre of the bolt to the front of the bar ( had a bit of flat steel against the front of the bar) i got 85mm. That is as close as i can get without pullin the lights off, and it's to hot for that!

Is there a fuel pump that will fit inside the tank that i can use to upgrade the stock 4.8 one?

Im doing a chev conversion to my race GQ and i need to put fuel pumps on the rig for the injection. I have stumbled across a fuel tank out of a 4.8l patrol, but before i grab it i have a few Q's
What pressure do the pump(s) run at, and what is the flow rate? ( will it be enough for a 5.7 ...

Now you have finished run a bit os sillicone around the base of the can where it meets the bumpstop as well as up the top where the allen key bolt sticks out on the one side ( as well as the secondary holein the top) as this will stop ...

It also has to do alot with the 'bind lenth' of your springs.
Is no use having a bumpstop set to high that it allows the spring to bind before all the effectivness of the bumpstop is achieved, the whole idea of it is to take some of the shock load out of the front end, you will not hurt them as that ...

Have just put a set of King 2.5's in the GQ race rig, still have some gusseting to do but they work good!
It's not a easy job! take ya time, coz if you put them in wrong you can bind them up on the spring. And also use the coldest welder you can get ya hands on as the tubes (cans) are made from Cro ...

As far as im aware the red wire goes to the positive side of the coil and the black wire goes to the neg side of the coil as i think the instructions say?
Not sure on this myself? Mine is wired with the red wire to the 12v side of the ballast and the black wire hooked up to the black wire that goes ...
