Find the starter motor wire from the ignition barrel, this way there is no power allowing any "would be thieves" starting it even if you left the key in the ignition.

A simple push/pull switch does the job and is easy to concel under the dash. Or the ...

I cant get my head around why running the front Crown wheel and Pinion.
Wouldn't the rear crownwheel and pinion in there currently do the same job and run on the correct side not the reverse?

it will vary depending on the length of the panhard rod and spring/ride height variations.
Get hold of an adjustable and it will make things alot easier.

I did it and weighed up the pro and cons verses reduction gears and very glad to have gone with the duals. It will still allow you to "tour" as such and keeps the original low range plus the added bonus of the reduction and a 2wd lowrange option.
If you find you need more later then add the ...

Richard,
got a question regarding recoveries.
Are we self recovering in Outlaw, open or modified, or is this all coming down to driver skill rather than how some can hang off a winch rope?

I've got over 70,000kms on my 35s.

It will depend on how much you have use them and how they have been treated, pressures, on/off road.

Only way you can tell is by measuring the tread and comparing with new and used.

I've scolloped out the 'hump' for the gearbox mount and re-inforced it with a piece of half pipe.
