My car apparantly has a small suspension lift (50mm?).

Will there be any problems (clearence, etc) fitting 33"s to it on standard rims?

Sorry to mine this thread again but the air flow sensor I had replaced has died again after 3 weeks. The car did have an aftermarket oiled airfilter, which the Nissan dealer said will be responsible for rooting the AFS. I am not sure about this explanation. The sensor died after about 20 minutes on ...

The AFS was stuffed, but no lights onthe dash on? Replaced and it feels like a new car. Is it possible that it was partly stuffed? Also, I bought the car. No, not sub $18K price. I wanted a car with reasonable kms, so paid low $20s. Have been looking for a more than two months and have seen nothing ...

Ok, been thread mining here a bit, but I have a 2000 GU 3ltr diesel in the driveway that I have borrowed from a dealer for the weekend. Its the car I want to buy, but it feels a bit down on power. I have spoken to the previous owner who said he found out after he sold it about the Air Flow Meter ...

Well keen to join the 4x4 fraternity, and the diesel jeep seems like a reasonably priced and capable way of doing it. Only problems are the seller won't answer his phone and the few people at work I've spoken to that are fourby owners have almost talked me out of the jeep. Basically citing expensive ...

Good Jeep Mechanic

Hello All, I've been lurking around for a while waiting until I sold my Falcon to get into a fourby. Been looking at a lot of things but currently considering at a diesel Cherokee at the moment (late 90's) and wouldn't mind getting a pre-purchase inspection done by a proper jeep mechanic. I'm ...

I'm looking at these cars now. I also started a thread asking about them not long ago.

The quote to get the aircon fixed is a bit off putting though.

Is there a certain age where the motos just die? It seems all the ones for sale on the net with more than 150,000 kms have had a motor re-build.

Thanks for the replies! It's very frustrating being in a position where I've seen examples out there that appear to be great value, but just can't do anything while I still have my current car. I also agree I have found climate control very annoying and nto as clever as it thinks it is on the two ...

Difference between SE & HSE Range Rover P38A & relia

Hello, As my name would suggest, I've not been a part of the 4WDing world for a number of years, since I sold my Discovery 6 years ago in fact. Currently have the Turbo on the market (although not expecting it to run out the door at the moment unfortunately!) and am looking to replace with a fourby ...

The P38s would have to be one of the best value cars around at the moment, great looking and comes with everything, but the cost of fuel is just too scary to come at! Used to have a V8 Discovery (when fuel was still "cheap") and even that was too expensive to actually take fourbying too often.

GREAT looking truck DEF90, although I'm sure I've seen it around somewhere. Do you live on the Mornington Peninsula by any chance?

Super work on that one!
