Yes they do, I just put a few washers under them to adjust correctly. They sit forward of the bar work, so I used to leave the top bolt a little loose so if they hit anything they would just swing back.

Depending on funds, I dropped out the 3Y and dropped in a 3RZ out of a 2005 Hilux, bolts onto 3Y engine mounts need a 25mm bodylift to clear bonnet, also need a 2WD bellhousing out of the same car which will suit the G52, I have a spare bellhousing if you decide to go this path.

In a NA application the G52 or W56 will be ample, both boxes come with either geardrives or chaindrives depending on model. I would use a G52 just for the fact that there more common then the older W56 geardrives.

I have stuck a 3RZ into a 84 4Runner petrol, its nearly done just before I drive it any distance I want to sort out some sort of temp gauge so I don't damage the new engine.

Is there a way to use the factory cluster gauge using a signal from the ECU, or have most conversions just used ...

The 3RZ I have is out of a 05 Hilux(last of the gen 5s), it has a twin coil pack setup no dizzy. I haven't fitted it yet so I can't tell you how it goes driving.

I agree with DAMKIA with the 24V soldnoids, I would talk to Berreta about his soldniod packs and that will save you the hassle.
