Good call murcod, it was hit on the side and had been resprayed. The door still squeaked when you opened it and there was some surface rust and the parts of the door were the paint had been taken off.

Hey Jools, here is a link to the one for sale. m It has rola roof racks on it, which I like. They seem to be a lower profile than others on the market. I think I may have to save a bit more and maybe just look at getting a widetrack. There was a nice one in the trading post the other day with 150km ...

Thanks for the info. I went and had a look at the car this morning. The "work" done on the gearbox/transfer case turned out just to be a fluid change. Had the bearings and repacked and timing belt changed about 5000km ago, but with no evidence of any real work done of the engine or gearbox I'm not ...

Feroza with a lot of km's?

Hey all, my pursuit of purchasing a Feroza still continues. Was looking at an EL-III the other day than seemed to be in reasonable condition. Already has hella driving lights, towbar and roof racks which is a bonus, however it also has 300,000km's on it. Has a good service history, and I believe the ...

Thanks mate. You're not wrong about redbook. Those options weren't listed under any of the EL's that I looked up.

Another one worth a look.

FEROZA 1991 EL3 Resin top, body lift kit, sports exhaust, big wheels,
CD, good condition, 7 months rego, $4500 negotiable

Thanks mate. Had a look through redbook already and couldn't see anything relating to those sorts of power options to a narrow track. Will have to go back and have a better look. Saw this add and was curious. Silver/black, hard top, all power options, bull-bar, towbar, air, CD, 120000kms, $6500 ...

Power Options?

Just a quick question guys. Did full power options only come out with the widetrack Feroza's? Or did power windows etc also appear on narrow tracks?

Thanks guys

Thanks murcod, I was thinking ELIII. Would be too much to hope for that it was a widetrack at that price ;-). Sounds cheap even for an ELIII. Will have to give the guy a call tomorrow and find out how many km's its done etc.

Feroza Questions?

Hey guys. Have my eyes on a 1993 Feroza F300CX at the moment (no air con). and just had a couple of questions. Price is $4980. The car has just hit the 200,000km mark, so do you believe the price is too high or on the mark? Any problems with one of this high a mileage?, should I keep looking for ...

I suppose I just need to get back to basics on what I want out of a 4wd. For me it would be my day to day drive. I do a lot of camping and so would be using it a lot for that. I like the idea of being able to load up the 4wd and head off for the weekend on tracks that cars normaly wouldn't be able ...

Good advice. I will probably be better served holding off for a while, saving a few extra dollars and going for a widetrack....Or I could get that cheapo suzuki sierra and lift it ;)

Where you thinking vitara by suzuki? Do they have a wider track that the feroza narrowtrack?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'd like to go with the widetrack, but don't really want to spend that many $$ at this stage. Won't be used for "serious" 4wd'ing as I am just new to the game and so don't have the skills as yet for the more difficult driving as yet anyways. Are they expensive to lift ...

Feroza newbie questions

Hey all, I am looking at buying a feroza in the near future and have a couple of questions. What are the main differences btw the widetrack and narrowtrack? Does the widetrack have a big advantage over the narrow? Any problems lifting the narrowtrack? Looking at buying around a 1989 model. Any ...
