I have an Autotecnica Boss which fits good but when the Sports wheel goes on it sits too close to the indicator stalk??I've heard theres a spacer that should go on some models but Repco over in NZ dont know anything about it.What sort of steering wheels do you guys have to sort this??

PS. Use rope method NOT screwdriver method.The correct tool for this is a hook tool and even then the rubber is prone to ripping. :cry:

Yep shortys are slightly curved also but not enuf to affect what is trying to be accomplished.
LWB being a shorter glass,a flat peice is a bit more noticable.

i,ve just removed my front one and have noticed no real difference at all,however i've also just put new springs and shocks in so evrything rides nice(even at 130kms) :cool:

Geez you guys are lucky,in NZ we charge $220+gst for windscreen fitted and cant get a rubber under $150..
For a comp gq we actually got rid of the rubber and bonded the screen to the cab,looked good and made the whole cab stronger. :cool:

Hi Nick,no body lift just a susp lift 50mm. Have put in 12mm spacers under the Transfer Case and seems to be only 3rd now :x A bit strange..

Gearbox issue

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with a TD42 5 speed slipping out of 2nd & 3rd when decelerating?? Have just put a 50mm sus lift in and 33in tyres and didnot notice it doing it b4 the upgrades.1991 GQ Shorty.. :roll: :cool:
