Yep, make sure its a genuine Nissan one.
I stuffed around with 3 aftermarket ones that didnt work properly, before putting a genuine one in with no drama.

Extractors/exhaust

Hi,
Ive got a 4.5 dual fuel GU. Economy and range are crap, but i love it, and its cheap to run on gas.

My question is, how much better will an exhaust and extractors make it?? THe exhaust needs replacing anyway.

What size exhaust??? what brand extractors???

Thanks i advance

definately buy a cheap 95 plus 80 series, swap parts and sell your 3f as bits..or keep it and use it for your insurance policy, save 1k per year and put your new cruiser up 6 inches  Andrew Out of interest, what is different about a post 95 80 series 4.5 litre, as opposed to the pre 95 4.5 ...

I paid $16500 for a 99 dual cab, 3.0 diesel. Canopy, winch bar, dual batteries, UHF, cruise, rear drawers, rear bar, heaps of extras and only 110,000 kms, genuine. Excellent condition too. I love it.

I often see various ones for sale off various models, but dont know which ones can be interchanged...

Thanks in advance.
