If I could just add one point on the advice offered here. As someone who has been down this road recently with QDOT it should be clarified for anyone reading this thread in the future that they get correct info from it to save the trouble in front of the inspectors. General advice is that 2" is fine ...

Had an engine mount let go on the cruiser.
The engine fan was eating itself against the shroud.
Maybe worth a look.

Thanks, have checked all the clearances and nothing seems to be eating itself yet... will keep an eye out tho as I am looking for this to be the mounts so I can rip back to Nissan ...

Yes, this has been suggested as a possible problem area for lifted Nissans even before I had this issue. I have seen a replacement for these that is supposed to do the trick for around $500 + install.
