It's not a Grand Vitara but the same principles apply, OME struts, Calmini Super Articulator Suspension, Commodore rear shocks , Bumpstop extensions & no swaybars. As it stands it scored a RTI of 545 on a 30 degree ramp, IFS can be made to work quite well. Care to share which commodore shocks you ...

I'm wanting to replace the front and rear output shaft seals on the transfer case of my 93 vit. I've looked at the seals and noted what i assume are part numbers. How do I interpret these:

4877
12661
40
54
KOK

All from the rear output seal. Even better, where is the best place to buy such seals?

Yeah, that's what i thought it was first too, so i checked the uni's and had one changed - still no difference to noise. The rear diff also needed changing due to backlash, which i'd hoped would fix the noise, but no luck with that either. I'm running out of ideas - what else would make such a noise ...

93 4dr Vitara: Front Wheel Bearings Noise/Replacement

I have a 93 4dr Vitara that makes a horrible noise/severe vibration at around 100kmh; it's far more noticeable when I back off the accelerator. I've recently replaced the rear diff (for a different reason), which i hoped might solve the vibration/noise as well, however it didn't and i still have the ...

93 Vitara - Cracked radiator - plastic top - repair/replace?

I've noticed an extended crack in the plastic section at the top of the radiator in my 93 Vit. Is it possible or worth getting repairs? Can the plastic top section be replaced? Other options include a second hand one - I have a 4 dr G16B - do the 2 dr radiators fit? Alternatively, a new radiator can ...

I'm looking at the possibility of suing 5236s with a 2" lift, but really have no idea about the valving. Are there others in the 5000 series that are more suitable to the rear of a vitara?

As above, how difficult is it to replace the lower heater hose on a 1993 vitara?

It looks tough, but it must be possible - any idea if anything needs to be removed to get to the engine end?

99% chance you currently have 5.12, which is the shortest readily available ratio. some models have 4.88, some 4.6, some 4.3, but if you have a 1.6 manual or 1.6 EFI auto or manual you have 5.12. Calmini are apparently putting the 5.83 back into production, but we have been hearing that for about ...

hey tyson, if you decide to get the 235s, see if you can do a deal with them on some 15x7" sunnies or something instead on mounting them on your stocko's. and the lift ratio for vits is: FRONT: 1":1.5" (spacer/coil lift:actual lift gained) REAR: 1":1" (spacers/coil lift proportional to lift gained ...

Whereabouts can you get the LTB in 34" for $280? That sounds like a great price for a reasonably sized aggressive tyre.

Are the centrepedes that much better??
