Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey guys,

Does anybody know the carrying capacity of a GQ Coil cab Chassis, I had a customer ask me today how much he could carry and would really like to know.

The car is a 1993 4.2 Turbo Diesel, Standard height with standard coils.

Is this conversion relatively simple, obviously there would be some sort of fabrication involved, but does anyone know if bellhousing patterns are the same?

The fill point on the auto box would b through the auto dipstick tube. thats how it is on most cars

I,ve looked in the Search section, but am looking for some photos of a spare wheel carrier and jerry can holder and how it fits onto the body, i bought one from the wreckers and it came in about 8 million bits, and just looking for some help as to where everything goes, thanx in advance

Just curious i have a mq with 16x6 split rims will they go on or will i need a 7 inch rim. I have a 2 inch body lift and guard trim, also about to go 2 inch suspension so shouldnt b any probs there.

Does any no what is involved in using an a/c compressor to pump air for tyres and the like, i have a/c on my mq but it doesnt work and theres no roof so not really much point. The a/c compressor still works and i thought mayb it mite stil get sum use if i do it this way. Thanx in advance

its alrite i found one its on my car. Went 2 ARB today and spoke 2 them they said u have a highmount winch bar and its 1 of ours. COOL. dont i feel a little bit silly. LOL

Does any1 no if a GQ Winch Bar is a bolt on replacement to an MQ and if not how much cutting is required, lookin 4 a cheap winch bar but cant seem to find any MQ ones

id say that the leak would be coming from the seal inside the housing. when u pull out the axle, the seal just in the housing. But i may b wrong, bit of a common problem and i have just replaced that seal b4 and fixed the problem. Hope this helps

but isnt there a 1 inch insulator between chassis and body.

just curious im doing a DIY body lift on my mq shorty and just wondering if i use 1 inch longer bolts or 2 inch longer bolts for a 2 inch body lift thanks

does any1 no of any1 in melb that makes rollbars for Swb mq's i wanna pull the canopy off and put a fastback softtop and want some sort of strength, or if someone is willing to trade for canopy and roof bars that would be even better!!!

im pretty sure ive got it in my workshop manual, but got no access to a scanner, i could fax it to u if u have a fax number?
