hi all, i am trying to find out if there is a toyota transfer that will fit strait up to a 1uz-fe v8 ucf21auto, celsior/ls400

I Have the same with my 105??.but 2 weeks ago i got a recall notice to replace the retainer bolts in the front hubs,so now getting full swivel hub kit and new inner and outer bearings to try and fix , I also have got new tyres and a new steering dampner

i have a 2" lift king springs in my 45 and they are a hard ride , with bugger all flex , now going to coil it.

the only reason i was going to change the transfer was i heard the 80 box was stronger.????

i have done a few other swaps on my trucks like a efi ford 6 to 75 series 5 speed in a 69,fj45 with 75 series diffs, [still building], commo ...

my truck is a 5 speed and when the motor or gearbox dies i will put a ls1 with auto in.

i would like to know if i should use the transfer box or swap it out for a 80 series , and is the motor swap the same as doing one in a 80 series.

any info ??

keep puting up great shots of the 40s,its just a pitty we cant get a kit for the coil conversion that they are doing in the usa.

i an now looking at puting the 45 cab on a 80 series with efi v8.

thats good 2.6 reduction should be better on the hiway with 4.3 ratio diffs dont you think.???????????

how strong is the transfer case ??? .

I don,t need to run reduction gears in this truck just get my to and from the mine and tow the 4.5m boat and car trailer.

trying to put the good stuff in my 45 build.

I have only just got the runner with a blown motor , then another motor and parts,oil then fly wheel parts for auto to man gearbox than some diff ratios ... all within 3weeks.

only a poor coal miner thats 4wd mad with 2 builds on the go

dont i need a diffrent bell housing slave cyl and then %%%%%% for gearbox

no problem mate, the box in my 3.8 4runner had a lot of metel on the drain plug so time to start looking for a replacement .

good luck on your build and do a lot of reading and ask a lot of questons to save yourself time and money.

I hope you get your transplant going ,my mate ronny had a 79 lux 253 with 32" bfg, 4.3 diffs 5 speed for a shooting rig. full rego and it was a rocket with heaps i mean heaps of power just no good on fuel . cheers jimmy.

not sure no taco but revs hard great pickup. need to find a pulse wire to get taco to work??? .

a mate of mine has a 253 hilux with 32" ,4.3 diffs still abit heavy on fuel. what would 3.9 4.1 be like??? cheers jimmy
