rear door problem

Dad's V6(auto) Vitara was reversed into a pole recently, so he took it to a smash repair place and they fitted a replacement rear door. The top of the door doesn't seal properly, let in water when driving in the rain and soon after the window shattered when the door was closed. All this suggests to ...

My FJ62 was losing brake fluid and I couldn't find where the leak was. Got a new Master cyl as a precaution and found that it had been leaking into the booster, and still had an inch or so to reach the level of the vacuum hose grommet. Woulda had about 1 litre of brake fluid in there.

60 series quarter window

HI all, got a good cond drivers door from the wreckers to replace one with big rust holes...but the replacement has all the parts stripped off it and appears not to have had a 1/4 window. Will I be able to swap the window etc from my FJ62( does have 1/4 window) into it ?
cheers

60 Series roof from Rare Spares

Hi , I was looking for something to fix the roof of my FJ62 and ended up at the Rare Spares site. They list a 2pc roof repair section for 60's - has any any of you guys used this product ? I thought there might be a fibreglass one out there but it seems not.

You're aware that toyota LSD's are useless? No, but thanks for the advice ! I was thinking that it would be a cheap alternative, not as good as an Air Locker but better than an open diff. If they're completely crap then I'll pass on it... In the meantime I'll find out if I really need one cheers,

60 Series LSD - How much ?

Hi All, here's my latest question about my 60 series fixer upper... Found an LSD at the wreckers with the same ratio (4.11) low k's if the odo is to be believed... I'd like your opinions on what it's worth ( Me to remove from the wreck) I've really got no idea what would be a reasonable price for it ...

I was wondering that too....the old V8 would have to be easier because the bits'n'pieces would be simpler. The V6 would be better on fuel and would be readily available from wreckers. Adaptors for the g/box could determine which is easiest....

LSD

Hi All, Is there any way a factory LSD can be identified from the outside ? On a car at the wreckers (ie not driveable) ? Its a 60 series GLX or GX or GXL (unsure). Has Hi roof (Fibreglass ?) and big aircon in the back.

G'day, had a look at the sites and was impressed. However it's probably a bit over the top for the car I have at the moment (beat up FJ62). Makes sense from a load carrying point of view anyway.

airbag "helper"suspension

G'day all, I did a quick search but did not turn up any info as to whether or not airbag suspension is any good or not ? Seems like a handy idea for those times when you have extra weight to carry.... Curious because I found these while looking around on Ebay http://search.ebay.com.au ...
