hit a stump with the left front at about 80kmh, the went over four times coming to rest on a tree with the car on fire.
so yeah car is pretty stuffed

smashed diff
bent chassis
bent cage
smashed bar and radiator
body is complete write off

started stiping it already only got diffs left in it, will ...

turbo diesle cutting out - advice please

it is a td42 with after market turbo set-up, car appears to breakdown and splutter after two and a half/three thousand revs.
only recently started doing this and was fine before hand.
i am not to sure where to start but to me it seems like all it can be is lack of fuel. any advice welcome thanks ...

my advice would be to avoid the steel blocks, i had them in my shorty for a while, they ended up cracking the body in a number of places. i now use nylon which works well.

i had my head welded up, new seats valves and stem seals also had stronger springs put on the inlet side all up with genuine gaskit set and new head studs cost me $960 at the time it seemed like alot because i was quoted around $700 but im pretty happy with it now going by some of the prices posted ...

i had the same problem, all cracks in these heads tend to stem from the six hexed bungs, which im led to belive thier only purpose was for the origional casting process. I had all six holes welded up and the crack fixed at the same time. no problems so far, i have been told once these holes are ...

the $2800 was just the gas system and tune i did the hole turbo set up myself.
My turbo is a T03 turbine and T04 compressor with internal waste gate.
boost comes on at around 1600 to 2000rpm which is probably a bit late depending how you drive, although now boosted the motor will rev quite easly to ...

i have a tb42 straight gas turbo, which runs a gas research throttle body and mixer, before the turbo setup it was just petrol.
I had gas research install a whole system and tune for $2800 which i thought was quite reasonable, best bit was i got $2000 back from the goverment.

dose anyone know how the pressure release valve behind the oil filter works exactly, mine dose not have one in there, the motor has never had great oil pressure but is quite low now.
last service oil and filter was only 1000km ago, im thinking about putting a new pump in but thought i would get some ...

i have a turboed tb42, just under 200kw at the wheels on 31s and am only running 7psi due to it being a new engine. Nearly run in now will be going to 12psi few more mods, im aiming for 200rwkw on 35s.
