No one has considered the simple fact of heat.
As ambient temperature increases the voltage in which a battery requires to charge (both absorption and float) decreases. Most flooded lead acid batteries required 14.4VDC absorption and 13.6VDC float AT 25DEG C.
14.8VDC into a battery underbonnet ...

Hi all,
Winch draw will vary greatly depending on how much rope/wire is on the drum.
For this its hard to find a fuse that will fully protect the system. In this situation the best fuse to use is one that has multiple blow points depending on current and time.
These are known as powerval fuses ...

Body Lift in Hilux
G'day Guys,
Want to put a 2" body lift in my 2000 LN167R Dual Cab Hilux and would like some advise from other members who have done the same.
Are there many mods that i need to do as far are brake lines, clutch lines, transfer levers, gears levers and so forth?
Also like to hear recommendations ...
