What is the best way to attack surface rust on a steel bullbar.
I was thinking of getting it sandblasted then painted (either home job or powdercoat).
Anyone have any recommendations?

The car doesnt blow any smoke at all so im assuming they are in good nick. Its due for another timing belt soon as well.

Fury diff/gbox drain plugs
Should I be seeing ultra fine metal paste on the magnet of the drain plug when I change the diff and gearbox oils?
I use castrol LSX90 and Multitrax in diff and gearbox.

Tyre Question - Hilux
I picked up a 31x10.5xR15 tyre from the dump along with an alloy mitsubishi 15in six stud rim and want to use it as a second spare on my hilux.
Do all tyres have to have the same offset on a car? I currently have sunrasias on the car.
Thanks

If you are wiring to the back then use something like this
http://www.traxide.com.au/SC80PCWK_Info.html
No need for anderson plugs if it is hardwired.
If you pm me an email i can send you some mroe diagrams.

Power inverter - Recommendations?
HI
I'm looking at getting a power inverter to go from 12V to 240V. I will use it to run a laptop, charge cameras and toaster.
I have noticed some cheap 100W inverters in Kmart etc. Would these be suitable?
Thanks

Topping up battery with DI water
When topping up a battery with De-ionized water, how far do you fill them? My manual says do not overfill so i put enough in to just cover the cells.
Thanks

Do these have a direction for wiring up? I noticed that there is a short silver and long copper coloured terminal.
