the motor in the 60 is diesel and he has an injected 5ltr to go into the 60. he is wanting to know how hard its going to be to put the diffs, transfer and gearbox from the 60 into the 40. any info will be great

hey guys, im postn this for a mate at work. he has a 40 series that he hydra locked at landcruiser park in the pig pen. he has now gone and bought a 60 and would like to know what needs to be done and how hard it is to swap the running gear from the 60 to the 40. any info would be great.

i to have a 1hz in a 105. mine has almost 300k on the clock but i dont have any prob's with it getn away down hills. just came back from coffs harbour and had to give mine a bit coming down peak hill to get it to move.

HILUX EXHAUST

I USED TO OWN AN 87 4RUNNER WITH A 4Y, IT HAD EXTRACTORS WITH A 2INCH EXHAUST AND A GOOD QUALITY SPORTS MUFFLER AND IT HAD A GOOD NOTE TO IT. I WAS TOLD BY A FEW EXHAUST SHOPS UP HERE IN BRISVEGAS THAT ANY BIGGER THAN 2INCH WOULD OVER EXHAUST THE MOTOR EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WORKED. :) :) :)
