p.s. I also found that the rears fouled the inner guards and chassis rails slightly, but not bad enough to worry. spacers would help that, and there's nothing that a body lift would do to fix it. Thats what I thought until I did major sidewall damage to my 35s from rubbing on the chassis in the rea...

I take mine off for security, less wind drag on the open road, so I dont smack them on branches during day time 4 wheeling, so I can fit in drive thrus and just generally less bugs, uv and other damage.

why not put in a small bumpstop spacer ? to stop the rub in the rear . To be honest I hadnt even thought of that. I will have to check to see how much I need to add. I guess I will get a slight increase in travel by grinding that crossmember and adding spacers than without grinding so it wasnt a wa...

When I first had my 35s I had only a 2" spring lift. They rubbed on the top of the front guard and on the chassis rail in the rear. The chassis rail isnt a problem but the round crossmember that sticks out about 10-15mm will take chunks out of your tyre. I have ground mine down a bit - dont go ...

Not sure what gqhoon has without looking it up but here is my take on a roof light bar. Had 90 deg bends in either end of the bar and just cut through the bend to make it 'smoother' fitting. Welded a bolt into either end of the pipe and use lock nuts to bolt it onto my tray bar. Most of the wiring i...

Currently running 35s.
Also got a 2 inch body lift and (crap) OME 2" spring lift that is being replaced by 3" EFS soon.

It is the big ugly factory plate that just seems to bite into the hump between the ruts in mud.

The Man a fre looks good. Will have to look into that a bit more.

75 series u bolt flip kits

I am looking around for a u bolt flip kit for my cruiser - the standard setup just gets hung up in mud all the time. I know snake racing does a kit and superior do a bolt on kit for the rear only - anybody else? The Micheles Sacks troopy had it done (the write up is in one of the 4wd monthlies from ...

also, anyone know the length difference of 75# vs 79# rear springs? I have heard that the 79's have a longer spring inthe rear, would this help you guys with longer shackles get more out of your suspension without getting new leaves made up? just a thought.. I was just about to ask if anyone had do...

It really depends how wide you want it to be on any particular vehicle. My tray only sticks out each side of the cab and inch or two but others have half a foot. Same deal with overhang at the back. Generally its the mounting that may need to be adjusted a bit to get it to fit another vehicle. My gu...

My 35 wranglers rub easily on the top of the front guard (75 tray). Still sorting through the process of fixing it but have been extremely busy this summer. 2 inch BL should go a long way to fixing the problem. Radiator shroud will be piss easy to mod, just redrill a couple of holes to match the new...

Scale? Depends how much you are zoomed in or out. A paper map has a scale because it is always the same size (like 1:50000) A GPS can be zoomed changing the scale every zoom level. Are you talking in general terms like large scale, detail scale etc? For those who already have it, What are the contou...

I just went down to the local Jap wreckers and picked out the most comfy seat. Make sure it is one that flips forward so you can access behind the seat. Coupe ones seem to work well. I think mine is out of a Subaru of some sort, but not exactly sure. I did have to make up some mounts out of flat ste...
