I didn't weld the bullbar at all. I welded a section of 50mm box to the chassis so that the bar sits on top of it.

I have done a 50mm body lift and lifted my steel bar by welding a 50mm rhs section to the top of the front chassis rail where the bullbar sits. Mine was doing the same thing. It turned out to be the fuel pump. Runs great on petrol now. Twin shocks
