I sold and used Century for twelve years without an ounce of a problem plus they come with a nationwide warranty.

Bit pricey though.

Remember you get what you pay for.

From memory around $120 for a 13 plater for a petrol, $150 for a 15 plater for a diesel and around $190 for a 17 plate 4wd ...

You can not even metalic in enamel. It is only available in solid colours and clears.

Cheers Mick.

I'm not 100% sure you'd have to speak to an automotive spray painter but i think what Mick is saying is right.

Yes there are enamel metallics in industrial paints like numerous rust kill variaties ...

do you have a flex joint in it at all ??
I have found that if you dont you can end up cracking the header tubes at the block (usually number one piston or bottom of number two where it meets the collector and is a PITA to reweld properly)
Seesm to occur because the Zuk engine mounts seem to let ...

My clutch/brake bloke says hd doesn't always mean better.
Sometimes it just means a heavier pressure plate, which ain't too great with cable clutches.
To stop slippage and wear, a good friction rating/type of surface is often more important than clamp pressure.

But I am not 100% sure if I ...

Which tyres for 90% sand driving??

I'm after some input on the most appropriate sand tyre for my Vitara.

I currently have 205/75/15's bridgestone HT's on the front & Kuhmo A/T's on the rear.

90% of my offroad driving will be on Stockton beach, which is notorious for soft sand, with the other 10% forest trails with hardly any mud ...

a vitara gearbox has 2 holes on top of the gearbox facing outwards. these holes have rubber plugs/grommets in them. these arent all that tight, and can pop out if your gearbox breather is blocked.

there should be 2 infront of the manual shifter, one facing left and the other right. even if you ...

Thanks guys for the input, still haven't had a chance to pull console apart to check if it's gearbox or motor, but had a quick look this morning and there seems to be an old oil stain on the bell housing end of the box which is probably from the dizzy as you say or the cylinder head. The fresh oil ...

Vitara gearbox oil leak???

I've had my 92 Vitara for 2 weeks and when I bought it I degreased the whole motor, gearbox, transfer and diffs, then put new oil in them all. I hadn't found any visible leaks until I got under to do a suspension lift on the weekend. There seems to be gearbox oil coming out of the top of the gearbox ...

Front diff drop 92 Vitara and tyre sizes???

Hi I'm a Vitara newbie. Bought a 92 Carby SWB 2 weeks ago. This arvo I installed Superpro 35mm spacers all round, did a strut mount flip and put longer shocks on the back. I haven't taken it 4x4 since the lift, only a ten kilometre drive. It has settled down a little and seems to have lifted the ...
