Carby Vit Extractor fitment pics
Posted up a while ago that I was getting a set of extractors/exhaust fitted.
Well I'm finally getting around to posting the pics for anyone whose interested.
Oh and I also fixed my oil leaks, was my dizzy o-ring and plug on side of gearbox as suggested by "sikid". Thanks again

Which tyres for 90% sand driving??
I'm after some input on the most appropriate sand tyre for my Vitara.
I currently have 205/75/15's bridgestone HT's on the front & Kuhmo A/T's on the rear.
90% of my offroad driving will be on Stockton beach, which is notorious for soft sand, with the other 10% forest trails with hardly any mud ...

Vitara carby snorkel..Any performance gain??
Tryin to warm up my carby swb Vitara a little.
Already put UNI FILTER air filter in stock cleaner box, new plugs, 9mm leads(a bit of a wank I know, but i work in a spares shop), new cap, new rotor, thoroughly carby cleaned carby.
Now I'm thinking of a snorkel for better air flow, but not sure ...

Thanks guys for the input, still haven't had a chance to pull console apart to check if it's gearbox or motor, but had a quick look this morning and there seems to be an old oil stain on the bell housing end of the box which is probably from the dizzy as you say or the cylinder head. The fresh oil ...

Vitara gearbox oil leak???
I've had my 92 Vitara for 2 weeks and when I bought it I degreased the whole motor, gearbox, transfer and diffs, then put new oil in them all. I hadn't found any visible leaks until I got under to do a suspension lift on the weekend. There seems to be gearbox oil coming out of the top of the gearbox ...

Orig tyre size 92 swb Vitara
Does anyone know the original tyre size for a 92 SWB Carby Vitara? Looked for my tyre placard, normally on drivers door, and it is no where to be seen.

Front diff drop 92 Vitara and tyre sizes???
Hi I'm a Vitara newbie. Bought a 92 Carby SWB 2 weeks ago. This arvo I installed Superpro 35mm spacers all round, did a strut mount flip and put longer shocks on the back. I haven't taken it 4x4 since the lift, only a ten kilometre drive. It has settled down a little and seems to have lifted the ...
