Apparently he had a heap of other work done, and it appears the gearbox came to around $4500 including labour. Still doesn't explain the thing still jumping out of gear though!

on this issue, what other LR vehicle stud patterns match a 95 Defender?

Anyone know the difference in off-set and stud pattern between a 1992 75 series troopy and a NJ Pajero?

Having the anchor points at the back door is a pain when trying to load gear in the back. Can you get an restraint bar fitted that runs along the back of the rear seats like some vehicles can have? If so, how much do they cost?

Thinking of buying another 93 Vit in Townsville. Anyone able to recommend somewhere to get it properly inspected to identify any issues?

Not getting pinged for tyres in an RBT doesn't give me much confidence in legality. Whilst not getting fined ...
