Does anyone have a manual with the spec for the inlet and exhaust valve clearence on a 2.8(3l) hilux engine?.

Can anyone tell me what the sender on the left hand side of a hilux gearbox does which goes into the engine wiring harnes of a 3rz.? I have fitted a 3rz to a ln65 and have this plug left over. (I'm running the origional gearbox). Also can someone tell me how to retreive fault codes from this engine ...

I have just fitted a 3rz-fe engine to an early hilux and was wondering if anyone that had done this mod before had any information on how to wire up the computer side of things?

The engine does have oil squirters as i rebuild the engine my self. It's intercooled and has been tuned to 560 deg and always runs a pyro. The turbo seems to have excessive side play as the compressor wheel nearly touches the compressor housing. Does this modle of turbo always have this much play as ...

The engine is a 2l with the ct20 turbo of a 2lt on it. I'm thinking that the excessive lag thet i'm getting may be caused by excessive side play at the compressor wheel.

Can any one tell me the spes's on how much side play ct20 turbo's should
have. Also for intrest's sake what rev's should you expect to get full boost. i'm running 10 psi and it only gets to this at close to 3000rpm. this is on a 2L engine.

alternators of the early modle 2.8 diesle engines are 80 amps and will bolt straight on.

Standard booster and 80 master.

I have recently converted the rear of my hilux to discs. Ever since i have had problems getting a full pedle on the first application.
