is it a solid axle model? f it is you could try the shaft out of an ifs model. i swpped my 84 shaft for an 86 ifs one when i did crossover and the newer shaft seemed a little under 2 inches longer. hope that helps

You could just put a bench seat out of asingle cab in it and have no worries getting it engineered although u still need an anchor for the child seat too.just a thought.
