D40... I've worked on quite a few, and the servicing costs are ridiculous.. Plus lower ball joints wear out between 60-120k and have to buy complete lower control arms priced @ about $500ea.. But thats just my opinion Mitch sounds like you can service yourself so you can save heaps doing that,as fo...

Re: funny clicking noise in colorado
Those washers hold the CV in place for the seal to work. The seal is the one that stops water getting in through the back of the hub/CV. But on this particular vehicle the c.v shaft was held that tight against the seal by the shims and circlip that it was making a high pitch noise, and the shims ph...

Re: funny clicking noise in colorado
hey sam, we had a similar noise in a dmax about 3 months ago. I found that if you take the auto hub off which ever side you think is making the noise, and pull the tiny little 1 or 2 little tin washers out from behind the circlip on the cv shaft it went away. Might be worth a try in your case, if no...

What i want to know is is there a draglink out of a toyota (bundera?) that will suit crossover? Or just bite the bullet and buy a crossover kit from lowrange while the dollars still good?
Regards Mitch
