Take a die grinder to the caliper, you can grind a bit from the mount of the caliper which is close to the rim, take a bit out and you should be ok. Just remember to check and clean regularly

I use a t3/t4 hybrid, it's an eBay knockoff and works great. Comes on boost at 2000 rpm and holds to about 5000

i think a good bearing t3 would out perform the cheaper t3/t4's as all the hybrids i have seen are bush turbos. on gas i get about 18L per 100 if im thrashing it, or it drops to about 14 ish L per 100 if i baby it.

hmm, i can help you in saying that a gt3540 is going to be too big for what you want there, they dont spool till about 2500. The one im using hits boost at 2k, it has a .64 front housing and .84 rear i think, or it might be 1.04 rear, not sure now.

dynod at 175Kw at all 4 wheels, on 33's @ 16psi

high mount manifold (keeps the turbo out of mud, water and crap a little more) and run a gt3540, how ever ebay t3/t4 hybrids work well, its what i use cos im a tightass

ditch the ecu, the wire in trick joel talks about works, and it works good for the price, but at the end of the day the std ecu is a POS.

yep i ditched it for gas :P the carby is as leaky as the city link tunnels :P lol
as prev stated, a pressure sealed box, to equalise atmospheric pressure inside and outside the carb will work, you then how ever have to get vac lines in to operate the vaccume secondaries, its a hell of a lot of ...

gu will bolt in, but its a hitachi, go a bosch, the one you want is the el ex chaser (but dont tell the wrecker that, they will charge you more) but thats the 110A version, and its a bosch, only needs the mount to be ground out a little, poss 10 mins of work, and its a plug in job

The sagar continues. I baught a new GT40 R coil, and a new set of leads, which made the issue 10 times worse, couldnt even get it to run. It would start, then start back firing and all sorts. I had to put the old coil and leads on to get it home.

Can't use stock carby unless you do blow through system for draw through you will need some form of side draught carby then you need to do something with timing etc go with straight gas less mucking around cheaper to run but still timing issues make sure you upgrade cooling system in short there ...

you cant turbo the std carb without alot of fucking around. If you want cheap power an impco gas turbo setup is the way to go. Did mine n all up it cost bout 3k inc dyno time. My writeup isnt on here tho. But yes it can be done cheap
