thanks for replys, mate went to sparky,on spottie loom there are 3 negative wires, i cant remember which one, but he connected one of them negative wires to negative wire on highbeam . so positve on highbeam wire spliced back to switch as well. hope that helps.

hi mate on my 80 series in back cargo area i roof mounted i had cargo barrier mounts,i just got aluminum angle say 20mmby 20mm bolted it to mounts, got 12mm mdf or plywood, cut it to slot in across roof, bolt it to angleline , amp, 4 6x9 speakers etc,good to screw in a say 30mm by30mm bit of wood ...

hi, my mate wired spotties to his 92mod 80 series cruiser plug and play loom ,spliced wire from switch to inner high beam h1 globe positive wire , but forgot to put power wire to battery, one highbeam globe popped, put new one in so now everything works, except spotties :roll: ,checked fuses etc ...

think it could be clutch spring because can hear it underneath as well at clutch housing, and the noise is more clunking than clickin noise as sound makes it way to top of engine.

hi all got 1hz 22500km no leaks, but noticed clicking noice ,got hose to ear to pin point noice its seems to come from back of motor when i had hose in that area, but goes when revs higher,is it something to watch out for any help apreiciated. thaNKS

thanks mate ,i noticed on the 4 mtr cord its AWG # 16/1.25mmsq. in the engel manual that size is recommended for 24 volt connection less than 6mtr long. for the 12 voltless than 6 mtr long it states to use AWG # 14/2.1mmsq i dont know if they sell that in the 4 mtr cord,so its good to be aware of ...

:? can some1 give sum advice please,on engel posi-fit(APAN) female connection is it best to have negative back to battery i think it has a fuse like on thepostive, or wire the negwire to the body by cutting the cord shorter, and if neg wire is to the body do i keep the fuse on the neg wire as well ...
