Did mine recently and i did not think it was that hard, the rear was real easy just drop shocks off replace spring and put shocks back basically. the front was a bit more of an effort but not all bad. I found it easier to undo the the three bolts on the sturt mount cause it made it easier to put ...

running hot without heater.

My vit runs heaps cooler with the heater on, as im sure do most cars. When its on the temp gauge sits at abouts 1/3 and when its off it shoots up to 2/3 is this a problem or just a common vit thing. Is there any way to stop fix it?
Its a 91 jlx carbie by the way.
Thanks.

vitara duel spare wheels

Just saw in cairns a vitara swb around the 93 model with lift and 31s with twin spare wheels mounted on the back as seen on landcruisers, patrols etc.
Anybody seen one of these?, looked pretty good (no camera so no photos), good way to keep the COG down when carrying spares for touring.

Fair enough. Would just the 50mm lift clear the 30s or wolud a small body lift of say 1" be required.
I have a 2" lift on mine + 50mm sus lift and that cleared nicely but she is quite against body lifts for some reason.

Really thats great about the galv body i did not know that! Sorry about all the Qs but i am one of those people that likes to research stuff before jumping into it. Yeah thanks, im in hervey bay so would be playing at fraiser island and various tracks around the region mainly sand to get to fishing/camping spots and a bit of exploring, nothing really extreme which is why i think a feroza would be a good choice as i would like to do a bit of longer driving to ...
