Re: Laminova Cored Intercoolers (Home Brew 2. GQ TD 42 )
Bit of a grave dig... there are still cores on ebay (USA) for $59 ea... how would one go about sourcing end caps and building the housing these days? Would like this type of cooler on a 1hdft. PM me, I'll see what the go is for parts (tubes, end caps etc), but the fabrication you'll have to get ...

New radiator (heat exchanger) going into mine along with the new turbo before the end of the year! (I may or may not have made a noisy, grindy mess of the old 1 LOL)
Should be interesting to see how it does with the new turbo from JPC

Converting an alternator to delta config. ?
I've been reading up on converting a spare alternator I have here (it is a Bosch BXU1285 with a 9 190 067 019 regulator) to delta configuration for the extra amps I can gain when using it as a second alternator. I have pulled it apart and it seems like a very simple procedure that I am capable of. I ...

I think your listed occupation really sums up this post. Have a look here , there is a good list of diesel pump rebuilders. How about some more details about what you are actually going to build, and not just what you are dreaming of. "Big" power in a diesel is expensive. You can easily budget over ...

Did this happen? Yes. Was a good event, lots of ground covered, I liked the format of 1 car being a reconnaissance car and 1 car being a logging car, with the winner being the team that travels the least amount of km's to get to the most waypoints. The SMS updates of how teams were doing was great ...

Next trial when money allows.... aircon gas :) Whats the plan here Ben? Are you going to try and set it up as a water replacement, or to help keep the water cool? Sounds like an interesting concept - i'd be keen on some sort of data in relation to how much power the A/C compressor suck too. Plan ...

Why would you need to update maps anyway ? Comps dont often end up on one way streets or freeways. General Mapping and navigation is all you need really As far as I am aware, the Navruns that I have participated in were competitions... and having the right maps for a navigation event is generally a ...

I'll never sell my Kemppi MLS 2300, it's 230 amps of sheer AC/DC welding brilliance. I would however like to complement it with my mates Miller Dynasty 350 amp machine, I love my Kemppi but that Dynasty 350 is a step up again. Just a little too big to carry onsite though. Regards Andrew. Lets not ...
